Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: After picking you up, we'll start the Portland part of our adventure on a unique urban hike that will take us up to a historic mansion with views of the city and beyond. From there, you'll have an opportunity to explore the city a bit before we check out Portland's iconic foodie scene for dinner and dessert.

Day 2:  This morning we'll make our way toward the Oregon Coast. The first coastal town we'll explore will be the town of Astoria where we'll spend the rest of our morning on a forest hike leading us up to a scenic viewpoint. After we've taken in the views, we'll check out the Oregon Film Museum where you'll be amazed to learn how many of your favorite films were created right here in Oregon. We'll end our day with dinner in this charming coastal town before turning in for the evening.

Day 3: After breakfast we'll head to two very different beaches - Cannon Beach with its iconic sea stacks, and Short Sands whose name does not give it justice. At Short Sands we'll hike to a stunning cove surrounded by towering sea cliffs on either side. We'll have a picnic lunch here before heading off to check out the world-famous Tillamook Cheese Factory and then on to our lodging just a stone's throw away from the ocean for the evening.

Day 4: On our last day together, we'll go on our most scenic hike yet - a trail along Cape Lookout that juts out into the Pacific where we'll end atop the sea cliffs surrounded by ocean views for miles. When we're finally done basking in the beauty of the Oregon Coast, we'll head back to Portland for you to enjoy the rest of your stay in the Northwest.
